About Harbor Church and American Baptist Denomination

Harbor Church is a warm community of faith which seeks to serve the entire Island as followers of Jesus Christ. We are affiliated with American Baptist Churches, but our membership includes persons of many denominations and we welcome visitors from all over to our services. Sunday morning Worship is at 10:00am year-round, with Children's Adventure Hour embedded, followed by a coffee hour.
Our Pastor, Peter Preiser, Jr, and his wife, Carrie Johnson, joined us in September, 2018 and were warmly welcomed by the church and Island community! First Baptist Church of Block Island (aka Harbor Church) celebrates 255 years of organized existence, but our roots go back to the faith of the original settlers of the island. |
